*** CMS: Joomla version 1.5.7 with Jfusion plugin ***

Test account*: testuser (not present anymore)

This issue is with our board management from Joomla! using Jfusion. New users are being imported into phpbb in the group_id "1" - guest. What is the method to have new Jomla!/Jfusion users populate phpbb as group_id "2" - registered?

*** NOTE - Please do NOT create an account unless I am notified first. I will delete any foreign (unknown) accounts unless I have prior knowledge. I can assist in the config testing if needed. PLEASE CONTACT ME FIRST at webservices@myneelyfarm.com ***

Thanks.

You will need to ask Joomla!/Jfusion support as they know the Jfusion code. Support here is provided only for phpBB code. There should be somewhere in the Jfusion code where the group_id is specified for both the phpBB users table and the phpBB groups table. Jfusion support should know where that is.

If you need help with updating your phpBB board to 3.0.4, we can do that.
Have you hugged someone today?

SOLVED -

You were right. I needed to review the JFusion component config in Joomla!.

In the JFusion component Plugin Configuration (in Joomla! admin), Select the "phpbb" and "Edit". Change the default group to "REGISTERED". Should work as needed.

BTW - This was REALLY fast response to my question. Thanks!
