Tamil Translation Info Removed?

Post by geminiprince »

Hi,
I have searched for Tamil Language Pack here in your List... But i could not find it. Before few months there was a maintainer ( NJTamil) for Tamil Pack. Now the info is removed. Can u please give me information regarding this? I'm interested to Translate.

Hi,
I searched that topic there given a list of language pack... Tamil is not listed there but still i get the following message when applying for translation..
----
"You are trying to become the maintainer of a language which is already being maintained. Please read the paragraph above regarding duplicate entries, which has now been highlighted for your convenience."

As stated on the application page:
Please, check the languages page to ensure that the language you would like to translate phpBB to isn't being worked on already, before submitting your application. If there is, please contact the language pack maintainer to see if it would be possible to co-operate on the translation since we do not allow duplicate entries on our downloads page.
Have you hugged someone today?

The Tamil translation is open and I will accept a finished translation if I get one.

I have recieved an application from vinodh and sathsara for translating Tamil, so you might try to cooperate with them.

Nobody has submitted one yet. Somebody would have to finish the translation first.

Hi,

Make sure all languages files are encoded in UTF-8 without BOM with PSPad, for example ;) .
