it's working superb !!!
no bugs found so far.

1 question: Why is there no simple option to add a total new template to a categorie without having to create the subcolor map in an other template folder. It works but it's a bit strange.

Greetz en tnx for this mod.

I think you can with editing directly the sub_template.cfg and setting the dir to ../template_name, also I never tried :). The way I use it (and very convenient for a moded board) is to keep subSilver as only template, and to use sub-templates for any other skin, which allows to not duplicate tpls until this is really require. Most of the time playing with the CSS and the image package is far enough to do things very interesting :).

Start with cleaning subSilver from qualified images path and qualified height (they are numerous) : this will greatly ease further conception of sub-templates :).

you have to create the folder "subcolor" in you're current template and put the sub_templates.cfg there

found another problem.
you can setup the .css file + the cfg filename but not a different theme_info.cfg location.

When i run another template on a categorie it still uses the theme_info file from the original theme. This way you can't change Text- and basic table colors.

how to fix this problem ??

Reading the author notes, especially the part about external CSS versus internal definition...

I think this is a great MOD, but i was not able to make it working correct.

At the moment, only the Images are different, in boards where i set a differnt sub-theme.
But how can I change the css-stylesheet?

My default-template (subSilver) is located at templates/subsilver
I created a new dir called mytheme in this folder (templates/subsilver/mytheme) and i copied a new stylesheet, a new cfg-file and new images in this folder.

My files are called:

style.css (Stylesheet)
style.cfg (Config-File)

How I have to set the paths/filenames, to make this mod working properly?

Oh, i found the problem:

This line was commented out in my overall_header.tpl:

<link rel="stylesheet" href="templates/subSilver/{T_HEAD_STYLESHEET}" type="text/css">
