If you have prototype.js framework...... on your forum you need open mchat_ajax.js and replace all $ to jQuery, details can be found here.

Hi AllCity,,

thanks for this shoutbox mod. It without charm and was very easy to install. Is there any chance that you could include the update instructions or at least a list of which files have been modified in case you did not change all of them? That would make life so much easier

That only change the size of the height where the message is displayed.
I meant for the whole box and not the row where the message is displayed.

You will find some configurations in the included file: mchat.php

First of all thanks for the greatest X easiest mod I have ever seen.

Here some questions from me.

I have bbcode problem with ie7. When I press a bbcode button nothing happens and yellow attention triangle appears at the bottom corner of the ie. Says invalid argument in line 391 in index page. (I have already changed $ in js file as told above..)

I tried what told above regarding the make chat area longer and text font bigger but nothing happened. Does anyone know exact lines for those two changes

Also any suggestion for tunning of the speed for this chat? did somebody try to change timings or database records to make chatting faster?

finally my biggest need is to make my chat up side down. I mean, I need last message at down first message at up like msn or skype, I tried to change some values in the queries but could not get exact solution.
