How can i stop spam post?

Hi am having problems Users keep bumpin topic over and over.

This is my problem. i created a topic. the same member keeps making spam post over and over and over.

How can i make it so that they need some one else to post so they can post again.

Why don't you put rules in place so that the members aren't allowed to continually bump threads, and when they do they get warned or banned for a small period?

Oh okay but i saw a phpbb site that had something like this.

one User are creating 2000 post no life.

It sounds like you have a few spambots on your site. I would recommend reading this topic.

If users are registering and creating thousands of topics in a day they are probably not humans, but spambots. You can ban them but they will only come back. The topic I posted above should help prevent these.

As I mentioned above, if he breaks the rules ban him. It doesn't have to be permanent either, just enough so that they don't do it again.

Increase the flood limit.

Flood interval:
Number of seconds a user must wait between posting new messages. To enable users to ignore this alter their permissions.
