Private Profiles?

I have someone who would like a forum set up. But...he insists all profiles to be private, viewable only by members. Is that possible?

Hi,

Yes, it is possible. There are an number of MODs that will do this for you.

The one I used came from phpBBhacks MOD number 1011. However, there are a number of more advanced MODs that add this and other features...

Check through the MODs section to get a better idea.

I will say that Ptirhiik has some good stuff. . .

The only problem is that, in some cases it may be a daunting task to install one of his MODs, as they do add SO MUCH to the forum...

I am still waiting to pluck up enough courage to install one..

Found it, got it running. It is what I wanted. Many thx for helping me deal with a finicky private fanatic friend.

Also thx to Gremlin for the other suggestion but I am not a wizard at this and I beleive I'll stick with the basics for now. I do have it downloaded and will test it in the future.
