Subsilver2 looks good, prosilver is the problem.

Wouldn't be better to give mod author a chance to fix those small errors before validating?

This is a great mod. Some users may not know what the above means.
Now they might be afraid to use it.

Great mod tumba, i love it ;)

This mod is not working on my phpBB 3.0.4. I follow all instructions carefully, enabling & showing the module at Module Management - UCP. When I go to the private messages screen, I see "UCP_PM_SEARCH" in a left tab; when I click on it, it does nothing (it redirects to ucp.php?i=pm&mode=view&action=view_folder&f=-3).

Please help! This seems a great module.

By the way, there is a mistake in the installation instructions. In the includes/functions_privmsgs.php we are supposed to add some code after this one:

Code: Select all

	if (!sizeof($msg_ids))
	{
		return false;
	}
But that code appears two times in the functions_privmsgs.php file (I tried all combinations with no luck, anyway).

Sounds like at least a language file is missing, witch makes me suspect that something else might be missing / misplaced too.
By the way, there is a mistake in the installation instructions.
If a code snippet appears multiple times, one should use the first one. In this case that should mean the first appearance around line 952 before the unique FIND

Code: Select all

	// Get PM Information for later deleting

Excuse me, but I'm 110''% sure that everything is in place. I have checked it several times, but the mod still does not work. By the way, my board is non-english, and I'm using a modified prosilver style, just in case is relevant. Thank you for your support!

Have you done all changes in all installed languages and styles?
Have you copied the language and style files contained in the MOD to all languages and styles you have installed?
Are you using MySQL as DBMS?
Do you have any other MODs that might collide?

I suggest using AutoMOD for the installation. If you installed this MOD manually I strongly suggest that you recheck all edits.

I have followed all the directions.

Copy the install directory to your forum's root path and run install/install.php.

Go to ACP > System. Under Module management in the left field select User Control Panel.
In the right field select Private messages.
In the drop down menu next to the "Add module" button select PM Search and hit "Add module".
Then enable that module and purge your forum cache.

Go to ACP > Users and groups > Groups permissions, add the 'Can use PM search' permission to the right groups.

I could not set the permissions. The PM search did no show up.
I am using MySQL. The ver of board is 3.0.5. PHP Ver is 5.2.5

Help Please.
