how do i refresh the style components?Brogan wrote: And if you did, did you refresh the style components?
Had already install the prosilver style, just refreshed template/theme/imageset and repurge the cachealightner wrote:Did you also follow the steps for installing the prosilver style? Without it your calendar won't have a user interface... it has the steps required to add the calendar link to your forum.
Code: Select all
$user->setup('calendar');
Code: Select all
$user->setup('calendar', 1);
Code: Select all
calendar.php and calendarpost.php
Code: Select all
<!-- IF not S_IS_BOT -->
Code: Select all
<li class="icon-pages"><a href="{U_CALENDAR}">{L_CALENDAR}</a></li>
Code: Select all
'U_CALENDAR' => append_sid("{$phpbb_root_path}calendar.$phpEx"),
Code: Select all
'CALENDAR' => 'Calendar',
install.xml says you we have to change includes/functions.php and not includes/constants.php and yes i already have that code in includes/functions.php still no luck or im completely blindalightner wrote: The variable U_CALENDAR should have been defined in: includes/constants.php asCode: Select all

That's what I get for not being more careful when I copy/paste - yes that change is from includes/functions.php, but if you've changed your overal_header.html file and have U_CALENDAR and L_CALENDAR defined, then there's no reason why you shouldn't see the link. Even if you didn't follow any other step in the install process, those three changes should create a link to the calendar (granted it would be a broken link if you didn't follow any of the other steps) but you'd see some clickable text all the same. Are you sure you don't have cache issues preventing you from testing your changes? Please post a link to your forum so others can test and help you debug.atno wrote:install.xml says you we have to change includes/functions.php and not includes/constants.php and yes i already have that code in includes/functions.php still no luck or im completely blindalightner wrote: The variable U_CALENDAR should have been defined in: includes/constants.php asCode: Select all

The calendar works if you browse to http://f.paradoxfederation.com/calendar.php the button not appearing may be that its not working with your theme?? theme looks not to be styled on eve pro silver or sub silver??atno wrote:http://f.paradoxfederation.com/index.phpalightner wrote:Please post a link to your forum so others can test and help you debug.
nothing on source code mentioning "calendar" or "CALENDAR" on the frontpage of the forums.
So is the link not coming up on the prosilver then?? and if you are changing, did you do the edits in the styles/prosilver or your existing style?atno wrote:Apologies, your instructions are correct mate, i was mistaken coz i was changing prosilver style and NOT the style i was using

Im not using prosilver as my default style and that was the problem, you have to add the link on your default style to go to the calendar.zake black wrote:So is the link not coming up on the prosilver then?? and if you are changing, did you do the edits in the styles/prosilver or your existing style?atno wrote:Apologies, your instructions are correct mate, i was mistaken coz i was changing prosilver style and NOT the style i was using
