Tested on phpBB version: 3.0.1

Download file: th23_error_pages_1_0_4.zip

You can try the link http://www.th23.net/demo.php as this page does not exist on my page...but keep in mind, that the theme is customized.

There is not much more...the http error messages are simply displayed using the forum style :)

I don't wanna assume anything, but your mod is pretty much EXACTLY like this one:
http://www.phpbb.com/community/viewtopi ... 9&t=712885

which was done in Jan. You just change the variable names and instead of doing a language mod file (Which is the proper way to localize strings, incase translations get updated), you put the string directly in the language/en/common.php.

There was no need to submit this mod as it was already done.

Sorry, but the rest of your posting does not sound like what I quoted before...

If you have any problems with my MOD feel free to report it to a moderator, I am happy to discuss with them any questions they have. I can assure you, I did not copy anything from another MOD... It just might happen, that two people have the same idea what might be useful for their site.

End of story...so please keep this thread for what its purpose is: Support on my MOD!

Thanks :)

sevenalive: And even when he based it off the other MOD its still allowed. The other MOD (And this one) are both released under the GPL, so as long you follow the GPL you are allowed to copy it.
There is here nothing proven its copied.
I suggest you stop this discussion, and go ontopic.

The "Integrated Error Messages"-mod is coded much better, since this mod here doesn't support correct error-messages in subfolders :!:

Good catch: Thanks for the info... I will iron that out in a later version of my MOD :)

You're welcome. As I see, you already managed to fix this on your site...

But I don't understand why you are making coding efforts on features already perfectly solved by other mods without any added value or enhancements...

Well, my starting point for every MOD I make is my own needs - for my homepages. I already did this MOD quite some time back and it was in the validation process here at phpBB for quite a while (as I had not much time for making the required changes). Once done...I keep it up to date at least for my homepages...

If I would have know other MODs existing on that topic - I wouldn't have done my own...as you can see on my homepage, I have more than enough others I am working on ;-)
