I mean in this particular style (we have some same names of certain files in the main folder) and no PSD, do they serve any purpose? (readme not mentioned)

EDIT: oops sorry, my test board was a fresh install and the "recompile stale style" is not set to Yes yet, so I was still using the old style that gives the old result

also, a lot of images like icon_user_hidden, icon_user_ip and icon_user_s_ip are not being used, I wonder what is going on?

I had a lot of issues with this style. Caching does not work properly.. I kept getting forbidden errors as well.
I reverted back to prosilver and my other style (1thank) and it was fine from there on.

Some images are not used becaused I changed them during the development.

I have left them there for the benefit of the users who may wants to use them.

Or there is something which is not working and I misunderstood your post?

Did you try to clear all kind of cache for this template? You may also try to uninstall and reinstall it from scratch.

I managed to figure it out. For some reason my cache was not working, also some of the files were not uploaded or had a bad upload.

I'll try to create a small one as soon as I have time, I only have a very big one now with many graphics elements which are not used by this style.
