When you test it on a PC do you have the same result with all browsers?
Because perhaps a browser refresh (Ctrl+F5) is needed...
EDIT: I just visited your forum using Firefox 3.5.4 from a PC ...
  1. The image “http://www.bhbebe.com/forum/styles/milk ... bl_h_l.gif” cannot be displayed, because it contains errors.
  2. The image “http://www.bhbebe.com/forum/styles/milk ... bl_h_c.gif” cannot be displayed, because it contains errors.
  3. The image “http://www.bhbebe.com/forum/styles/milk ... bl_h_r.gif” cannot be displayed, because it contains errors.
Try replacing those images and see how it goes...
My mods in MODDB:
Add Homepage link in header - Change user activity post limit - Post number in viewtopic
If you need support click on the support tab there and post your question.
Do not PM me - chances of viewing my PMs are way thinner than viewing the support question in the customization DB...

I use this style and think it's the best red one I've found.

Though it doesn't seem to support the function "Enable quick reply" (described for instance here).

When changing to the default style, it works, so I guess this has to do with Mily Way Red. Can it be updated to support the quick reply function (which is a standard function in latest phpBB3)?

Hi,
I have just tested on my local testing environment and Quick Reply seems to work fine with this template.

I would suggest:
  • Make sure you have the latest files for this template: you can try to re-upload the template
  • Refresh the template in ACP from the styles section
  • Empty the cache

I updated the style yesterday, so I believe I had the latest files... Though I tried now again, uploading the whole directory again, this time not overwriting the files, but renaming the old directory and uploading the new one to "milky_way_red".

When updating the three components in the style - on the template one, I get:
Could not open ./../styles/milky_way_red/template/topic_notify.txt
In the style I downloaded, there isn't any file like this.

Which cache do you mean? The one in my browser or somwhere in phpBB? I have tried in the browser, and also opened it in another browser - but no results.

(And I of course have quick reply set to yes both in global cinfig and on every category).

topic_notify.txt is the email template used for topics notifications.

It is language and not style related, so I don't know why you are having that error... it is not supposed to happen of course.

Maybe could be related to a mod you have installed or to a phpBB bug which I'm still not aware of. I will try to understand why and let you know if I come to an answer.

When I was talking about CACHE I was meaning your site cache and your styles cache. But I guess it won't solve the issue.

When posting a poll or a vote I get "The submitted form was invalid. Try submitting again"

I did update to 3.0.6.

I am a total noob I don't know how to update the files under "Milky Way Red". Will there be a patch that will deal with this?

Please advise.

Thank you.

I have just tested this on my local testing environment and it is working fine. Can you please verify that you have the latest available files and then refresh your template cache in ACP?

Thanks.

Fantastic style.

I've just one small issue with it unfortunately and that's when you go to post a reply, the "Thread Review" part below the posting text box is blank and is headed by "{ MESSAGE_HISTORY } -". There are some other minor corruptions below this too, but this posting.php page seems to be the only one affected.

Could this be due to the fact I am running phpbb3.0.5 and the style is optimised for 3.0.6?

Hi,
My wife just had a baby. My delayed response...I refreshed the templates cache and styles and the voting still says 'The submitted form was invalid. Try submitting again"
Seems to be an issue with all styles other than the default prosilver style.

Any new news about this?

Thanks in advance.

UPDATE-1.0.6 must have been realeased the second after I downloaded the previuos version of milky way red...Voting is working again. Thank you.
