Does anyone know a good portal to use for phpbb3?
I used to use phpbb3portal and it was working fine until i decided to install a clean copy of phpbb, i copied everything over and re-installed but its acting weird, one minute it shows the portal that i have designed and then it shows the default portal before you do any changes to it - i have cleared cache etc and nothing working.
its driving me nuts now so giving up.
Are there any others?

phpBB3portal is gerat,and simple,I recomend it highly for you if you are not advanced in moding styles and want many styles
But if you want to have Archive system in your portal and are advanced in moding styles,I recomend Board3 portal.

Stargate Portal

Board3 Portal
easyPortal
KTVM Portal
There might be one or two more, I only went back 10 pages in the MODs in Development forum.

B.Your Portal can show which one ?
1.Admin or frum medator can set a topic that shows as a news?
2.Admin or frum medator can set a topic that shows as a news and news can be managed as categories? (Such as http://www.phpBB2.de plus 1.53a Portal)
3.News of some (or all) forums that set in ACP (mostly by ID's) shows automaticly in Portal?
4.Sticy or Annucoment topic show in portal?
5.News Not load from forum,they are written as Article ?
6.Portal contents Archivet every X pages (Such as http://www.phpBB2.de plus 1.53a Portal)
Pleas tell what of above abilites this portal has ?

Just for your information, Portal XL started as a copy of Stargate Portal. The author then renamed a bunch of variables and moved some files around to disguise this fact before then removing the original copyright for Stargate Portal. So, if you don't mind using stolen illegitimate code then sure - try XL.
I however would recommend Stargate Portal. You probably won't find better supprt for a portal anywhere either.

Umm I have not tested XL or strange portal at all
As I test phpbb3portal is good becuase of less needed edition in styles and board3 portal is good for ARCHIVING system
I dont test any other

Does anyone know what portal is this at this url, singaporepropertytalk.com? i have just installed phpbb3 and would like something similar but can't really confirm whether i can get this layout with easyPortal. I think it is but not too sure..
One thing i really like about this layout is the ability to do a quick post on the home page. As shown in the attached picture below.
