Hello Derky,I use this mod it is realy good. But as you know after the phpbb3.0.6 members can also notify the private messages. But we can't see any info on index page if there a pm notify is. Only we can see the normal forum messages, but PM not. How can we add PM notification to index? :roll:

Hi,
Good mod, thank you it was exactly what I was looking for, a quick and easy mod. In case anyone is curios, it does work on version 3.0.6 by manually altering the files.

For those of you who want to display PM reports seperately.

Edit index.php and put this in between the other two:

Code: Select all

// Reported PMs
	$forum_list = get_forum_list('m_report');
	if (!empty($forum_list))
	{
		$sql = 'SELECT COUNT(pm_id) AS total
			FROM ' . REPORTS_TABLE . '
			WHERE pm_id <> 0
				AND report_closed = 0';
		$result = $db->sql_query($sql);
		$total = (int) $db->sql_fetchfield('total');
		$db->sql_freeresult($result);

		if ($total)
		{
			$template->assign_vars(array(
				'L_PMS_TOTAL'	=> ($total == 1) ? $user->lang['PM_REPORT_TOTAL'] : sprintf($user->lang['PM_REPORTS_TOTAL'], $total),
				'U_PMS_REPORTS'		=> append_sid("{$phpbb_root_path}mcp.$phpEx", 'i=pm_reports&mode=pm_reports'),
				'S_PM_REPORTS'		=> true)
			);
		}
	}
Then edit your template file index_body.html and replace the one from the MOD with this:

Code: Select all

<!-- IF S_HAS_REPORTS or S_PM_REPORTS or S_HAS_UNAPPROVED_POSTS -->
<div id="message" class="rules">
    <div class="inner"><span class="corners-top"><span></span></span>
        <strong>{L_INFORMATION}:</strong>
        <!-- IF S_HAS_REPORTS --><a href="{U_MCP_REPORTS}">{L_REPORTS_TOTAL}</a><!-- ENDIF -->
        <!-- IF S_PM_REPORTS and S_HAS_REPORTS --> &bull; <!-- ENDIF -->
        <!-- IF S_PM_REPORTS --><a href="{U_PMS_REPORTS}">{L_PMS_TOTAL}</a><!-- ENDIF -->
        <!-- IF (S_PM_REPORTS or S_HAS_REPORTS) and S_HAS_UNAPPROVED_POSTS --> &bull; <!-- ENDIF -->
        <!-- IF S_HAS_UNAPPROVED_POSTS --><a href="{U_MCP_QUEUE}">{L_UNAPPROVED_TOTAL}</a><!-- ENDIF -->
    <span class="corners-bottom"><span></span></span></div>
</div>
<!-- ENDIF -->
Be sure to refresh your board/template afterwards. This works for me :)
