Non XHTML compliant code ...

Post by Baldurien » Sun Aug 10, 2003 3:34 pm

In the 2.0.6 versions, alle the <meta /> tag for redirection are not compliant to XHTML syntax :

For example, in groupcp.php :

Code: Select all

			'META' => '<meta http-equiv="refresh" content="3;url=' . append_sid("index.$phpEx") . '" >')
I think you shoud handle this...

I agree - any security issue must take first priority. XHTML can be done whenever there's time.

Yep, sure :) I understand that XHTML is less important then security.

Anyway, I'm making a XHTML Compliant theme based on subSilver base theme. So :) I'm correcting the XHTML errors.

/me ponders what exactly "do not post support requests, bug reports, or feature requests" means. ;)

Plus if it really bothers you that much, I'm sure typing two bytes which doesn't in anyway effect how core code works, wouldn't be too much of an issue.
