Also note - This is BETA software - It might move to RC stage soon (perhaps) but still does not mean it should be used on live systems yet.

NO support is currently being given for its use. So user beware.

i thought i mentioned all of that? :P

im curious as to what everyone thinks of the new release (features, etc) after having used it. i think its a great update to the package. i am especially interested in trying out the template inheritance sometime (when i feel like throwing up another 3.0.3 test board - i dont dare try it on my live 3.0.3 board).

The template inheritance is quite a powerfull tool. I'm developing a new style right now and it is really nice that you can just focus on the files you want to change, and just work file to file through proSilver for example.
It would howerver be even more powerfull if it also should work on the themes and imageset ;).

So, with inheritance, you practically create a new style in ACP and you delete template files, you alter theme and imageset and set it to use prosilver template files? That's what I understood, but I'm sure I'm wrong because that could be done already... :?
Anyone care to explain more about how to use this? I read the kb article but could not get too much... :?

I do not have any use for this template inheritance myself. The styles I use are either completely different or just the same (template-wise).

OK, now you got me confused... Are you talking about svn version?

Please note that the RC releases are meant only for experienced users and, in the event anything goes wrong, you will receive very limited support. In short, if you don't already know about them, where to get them, and how to use them, just wait for the public release ;)

Hmm, we send them through the mailinglist at code.phpbb.com - maybe they landed within the spam filter?
