You probably mean archive_body.html because I see no reference to an archive.php file anywhere.

Hiya,

Nice mod but something is not right in my admin panel?

Another quesiton was

How can I add My Blog and Blog button inline with the Board Index rather than on the line below it?

How to stop long strings / large images breaking the layout?

Post by NicMason.com »

Long strings and large images break the layout.

Is it possible to access the functions that will crop both of these, as occurs in the standard phpbb forum?

Thanks for any and all replies!

Found the answer!

I added overflow:hidden here in view_blog_main.html: <div class="postbody" style="width: 430px; overflow:hidden">

EDIT: A fixed width seems to be necessary, rather than a percentage...

Try checking your edits in the installation of the mod. A common error is to place code AFTER a designated point rather than BEFORE (as stated in the instructions) and vise versa.

A hunt through the code may be in order... Not sure why would you want to do that, though... I think it would start to get a little crowded up there! :)

I've double checked every single line of the edit and it seems to be fine.

Could you point me which file I should be looking in particularly to fix that error as shown in the screenshot?

Thanks

I'm not sure exactly where it would be, but if it's anything to do with this mod, it's most likely in one of the edited files in the "acp" folder or in the "adm/style" folder. At a guess...

Another possibility is that you're using an outdated version of phpbb3...

Sometimes when I'm looking for things in a large amount of unknown code, I use Firebug (a Firefox extension) and use "Inspect Property" on some element to locate a unique label or text in the relevant page, then use Dreamweaver to search through all the possible files to find which one it's in.

Not live yet... But will post here soon. I edited the html files quite a bit to get a look I was happy with.

That's fine.

Would you be able to release that on my forum?

Also, could you update it to 1.0.9? The only difference is that the language/en/mods/blog/umil.php file was added.
