Hey RCTycooner!

I haven't tried it yet, but I'll be the first! :) I didn't know you were such a good modder. I'll report back when I get it installed ;)

EDIT:

Okay, everything looks great so far. Have any images of the dice, or do you want me to rip them off the game itself?

I made some dice just now, don't know if they'll work:

ImageImageImageImageImageImage

Code: Select all

#
#-----[ COPY ]------------------------------------------
#
one.gif -> /images/lucky_dice/one.gif
two.gif -> /images/lucky_dice/two.gif
three.gif -> /images/lucky_dice/three.gif
four.gif ->  /images/lucky_dice/four.gif
five.gif -> /images/lucky_dice/five.gif
six.gif -> /images/lucky_dice/six.gif
RCTycooner might have some better ones to use.

EDIT: I couldn't rip off the real dice from Golden Sun, they're all.. 3d-ish if you know what I mean o_-

You're very welcome ;)

I found a little little bug but I don't know if you can fix it.

If you place a bet of a negative number, you'll be able to gain that much. For example:

Betting -1000 points (or coins, whatever you use) will make it so that you EARN that much. This can be chaos unless you change the amount you can bet. Thanks goes to our forum members for figuring out this mess. Anyway to fix it?

I'm sorry I don't know much about coding. I just altered the cosmetics of it to blend in with my forums. We better ask the author, RCtycooner. Any ideas on how to fix this ???

I'm not sure about this, but at the

Code: Select all

if ( $bet == '0')
{
if you don't want your users to be able to bet negative numbers, I guess you could stick a if statement in there and changing

Code: Select all

#
#-----[ FIND ]------------------------------------------
#
if ( $bet == '0')

#
#-----[ REPLACE WITH ]------------------------------------------
#
if ( $bet <= '0')

#
#-----[ FIND ]------------------------------------------
#
if ( $bet == '0')
{

#
#-----[ AFTER, ADD ]------------------------------------------
#
	if ( $bet < '0' )
		{ $game = <center>You may not place bets less than zero!</center>; }

#
#-----[ FIND ]------------------------------------------
#
	$game = '<form method="POST">';

#
#-----[ REPLACE WITH ]------------------------------------------
#
	$game .= '<form method="POST">';

Try this:

Code: Select all

#
#-----[ OPEN ]------------------------------------------
#
LuckyDice.php

#
#-----[ FIND ]------------------------------------------
#
else
{
	if(! is_numeric($bet) )
	{
		message_die(GENERAL_MESSAGE, ''.$lang['error_values'].'');
	}

#
#-----[ AFTER, ADD ]------------------------------------------
#
    if( $bet < '0')
    {
		message_die(GENERAL_MESSAGE, ''.$lang['zero_error_values'].'');
    }

#
#-----[ OPEN ]------------------------------------------
#
language/lang_xxx/lang_luckydice.php

#
#-----[ FIND ]------------------------------------------
#
?>

#
#-----[ BEFORE, ADD ]------------------------------------------
#
$lang['zero_error_values'] = 'You can only bet positive amounts';
See how that works for ya :)
