Hello all I am trying to install a phpbb3 board and I am getting this error:
Could not connect to the database, see error message below.
Can't connect to local MySQL server through socket '/var/run/mysqld/mysqld.sock' (2)
I gave the correct database that I created through MySQL when installing via "one click".
The username I used was the one I created then as well, along with password.
Am I giving wrong information here to the installation process?

Are you sure you are using the correct server name? Usually it's localhost but it can vary. Check to see if it's right. If everything is correct then it just means your host is having problems.
