123fcserver: I'd like to direct your attention to rule 1g. You need to change your topic title so that it isn't it all caps since that is considered yelling. Make sure you read over and are familar with those rules.

Thanks.

Or they'll go with X7 Chat (www.x7chat.com) which is free and easy to integrate.

Yeah, X7 Chat is not bad, I don't mean to be aggressive
but which one looks better?
What kind of feeling do you wanna your members to have when they're on your site, hanging around?

i actually prefer x7 - this forum is based on the idea of giving something for free for the benefit of those who use the software, now from your sig and your name it looks like you were the person who developed the chat software? So bringing a mod here that will cost upwards of $150 is plain silly - 99% of people will just think stuff it, i know i did

Dave Piper from www.pipey.com is working on a free php version of his successfull asp based chat room atm
paying for something like this is too much. why dont u make it like pipey and offer it for free to use but if you pay you get the source files to modify as they please or something.
you should also make it so ppl can add thier own skins

Actually right now users can make their own skin without the source file of our server application.
Here's the tutorial:

HOW TO customize skin?
http://www.123flashchat.com/howtoskin.html

and HOW TO change skin color?

Yes, with our Windows client(1.32 MB),
which you can download from:
http://www.123flashchat.com/download/12 ... client.zip
chat members can adjust the size of chat box by themselves.
