Why korean characters not appearing in Notepad ++

Hi, trying to translate forum into Korean using Notepad ++, but when I go to type korean characters in Notepad++, it fails to appear, instead I get little small boxes as the text. How do I solve this problem?

Perhaps the font you are writing in does not support those characters. Try another font which supports the korean character set.
