I installed this mod with Automod. I did everything in DIY instructions. Tabs in ACP appeared, but when I click on them I get:

Yes, I did. I wasn't working so I tried to install SQL manual. I still get this error.

Disclaimer: I am a novice to mods.

Curious as to how to edit Ultimate Points to allow 3 decimal places for points instead of the default 2. I have attempted to edit the database to decimal(10,3) instead of decimal(10,2); however, when attempting changes via the acp the entry fields will round to the nearest hundredth.

Example:

Posts per character on a new topic: 0.001 entered would result in 0.000

Posts per character on a new topic: 0.016 entered would result in 0.020

Any ideas?

Check you includes/constants.php ... There the tables are defined. If you have them there, check your DB ...

Check board3.de ... There you will find the most recent version. Not sure, if there's a direct update from 1.0.2 to 1.0.4, since there were major changes from 1.0.2 to 1.0.3 ....

I am looking for the same thing:

I want to decrease 1 point or any X-point everyday from certain group like "Subscribed" or "registered" I am able to decrease it manually but it is time consuming. Can you automate the process? Like X-points will be decreased at 12:00 AM of board time. or something like that.

Please ... As mentioned several times ... At this stage of development (we are in the process of getting this MOD into the MODDB), there will be NO addition, NO new features NOR anything else.

Hi, again i have a question ... how can i set this mode to send emails to users that have a number of points that i set...

For example when a user reaches 1000 points i want him to receive an automatic message (PM) to let him know about that.

Any suggestions ?

When I try to rob somebody, it sends a PM to the user I tried to rob, that's ok, but this is how the PM looks like:

I have been translating it, but not all the terms...and not in the proper way. I mean that I didn't like the "cash" implication, so I replaced it with the points I use (Health Pts), but i'll translate literally in next weeks...

Try as first step to use the original message as it's provided with the mod. If you translate it remain the structure to be the same. So we use the standard way of sending mails, which normally does not change anything in the layout.

I'm really liking the look of this mod... it will definitly come in handy for what we are looking for on our site.

I understand that this works with the Medal Mod - but just a question before I install this..

Is it possible to only allow points to be awarded when they recieve a medal? Like completely turn off awarded points for anything forum post related or anything - just purely to be awarded points when someone recieves a medal?

Hello,

I have a suggestion. Can you add an option in Robbery Settings ? Option to enter a log to the attacked user into the points log, so that admin can choose send pm or enter log. And user can save time to view all the attack informatons instead of open the pm one by one.

Finally run the database installation by calling root/install_ultimate_points.php from your web browser. Please delete this file after the successful installation. Basic settings, permissions and modules will be created during the installation. 

After you are done with the installation, please go to your ACP and check all the settings.
