That fixed it all up. I don't know how I could have done that. I would like to say that it wasn't me, but everyone else seems to not have that problem. It was probably a lack of sleep! lol. Thanks for your help!

Hello,
one problem found while phpBB 3.0.6 compatibility test:
Just delete these lines in install.xml:

Code: Select all

		<edit>
			<find><![CDATA[function view_log($mode, &$log, &$log_count, $limit = 0, $offset = 0, $forum_id = 0, $topic_id = 0, $user_id = 0, $limit_days = 0, $sort_by = 'l.log_time DESC', $keywords = '')
]]></find>
			<inline-edit>
				<inline-find><![CDATA[)]]></inline-find>
				<inline-action type="before-add"><![CDATA[, $dnsbl_id = 0]]></inline-action>
			</inline-edit>
		</edit>
This edit is not needed!

Another old issue with UMIL and umil_auto_dnsbl_list.php still exists. Don't run this file. Do it manually with http://www.martin-truckenbrodt.com/cgi/ ... p=589#p589 + next post.

When I have solved the UMIL issue I will release the next version for this MOD.

Hello,
please tell me which problem have with AutoMOD.
I only can fix problems when I know about them.
I'm never using AutoMOD myself.

Hello CMA,
you can run the umil_auto_dnsbl.php. This UMIL script is creating the empty DNSBL table.

But umil_auto_dnsbl_list.php is not running. This UMIL script should fill the table. But you have to fill the table manually e.g. with phpMyAdmin. See my topical DNSBL list on my website.

Hello CMA,
use the link at my signature to get my personal strategy. It's very effective and very user friendly, too.

Minimum:
Advanced Block MOD (with topical DNSBLS list) + user activation = User
CAPTCHA deactivated
not any other Anti-SPAM MODs
=> very, very rare (one in two or three months) successfull SPAM registrations, they seem to be new or human SPAMMERs

Optional or for the future then SPAMMERs will take the UTC-12 trick (Most of them still don't. :) ):
ADAP 1.4.x with account activation = User+Admin (Double Activation) + Auto user prunning
=> some rare successful registrations
=> Double Activation (User+Admin) helps you to identify them as SPAMMERs and makes it easy to delete them. The accounts with real email address and auto account activation responses will not be activated automatically like it is with account activation = User.
=> Auto user prunning deletes the rest of them, doesn't matter if activated ot not activated
