JavaScript Anti Bot

The basic idea around this MOD is to be able to incorporate other more advanced checks that will appear within the <noscript> tags.

Well you won't noticed nothing changed, only way to test is with Noscript or disabling Javascript, you should see a button on top telling you if you are human to unchecked it.
Also other way to tell, is you'll see the decrease of spambots on your site(usually 0-2 spambots registrations0

One of the main elements of this is to help the admin filter out some more spam bots, in theory, one could add a more sophisticated check that will appear between the <noscript> tags.

Any chance putting this on the post page? I would like guest posting, but when I allow it, I get flooded with spam. This mod has stopped the registered user spam, but I still want guest posting without the spam :(

Now in English.... I would like a JavaScript field in the post screen that guests receive when not logged in.

This is a great idea!

Actually, I'd like to see a version that would prevent anyone from using the forum at all unless they have Javascript enabled. For one thing, they aren't seeing a lot of the features and secondly, having Javascript turned off prevents some of your ads from being shown.

Anyone knows if it works with 3.0.7?

I have a Javascript based anti-spam on my Wordpress blog, and it blocks 100% of spammers. I assume this MOD works the same way, so I'm ready to give it a try on my forum.

edit:

well I've just installed it on my forum, and I beleive the MOD is broken on 3.0.7.

Tried 3 differrent browser which are Firefox, Opera and Safari, disabled JavaScript in each of them, and the checked box that we need to uncheck on the registration page never appeared. Of course I deleted the cache of the browser before trying.

everything has been edited correctly in the template/ucp_register.html file

Nice mod...

could it be altered to work on posting.php for every post?
