I can see your problem. But, to be honest, I don't have a clue what might have caused it.

Did you make any modifications to the template html files, or the css files in the theme folder? If not, delete the style, and re-install. Let me know what happens.

Well I fixed the problem with Error and Trial Method
I overwrited bidi.css with another one from Prosilver Special Edition style
and it worked :D

Someone explained to me that bidi.css from the Prosilver SE uses this classe:

Code: Select all

.rtl ul.topiclist dfn, .rtl .skiplink {
       position: relative;
       width: 1px;
       height: 1px;
       overflow: hidden;
       display: block;
       left: 0px;
    }
anyway, this is the bidi.css file from Prosilver SE style

Code: Select all

/* proSilver RTL definitions

/**
* common.css

.rtl h1 {
   margin-right: 0;

Thanks

This is a fixed-width style. If you want to widen it, many of the graphics will be mis-aligned, and some will need to recolored. It won't be easy.

If you want to go to a full width style, no borders. Download and Open 'stylesheet.css' in the Theme folder;
Find and delete this line;

Code: Select all

@import url('borders.css");
You'll need to recolor the 'corner' images in the theme/images folder, if you don't, the rounded corners of the panels will have yellow ears. :)

If you want to keep the borders, and make them wider, let me know. That will involve new graphics, and more file modifications.

Save the edits and upload to your web site. Be sure to 'Refresh the Theme folder in the ACP/Styles tab. If problems occur, just upload your backups of the two edited files.

sidebar andvertising

Post by colindavidwhelan »

Congratulations on your work.
I'm using it as my basis but have a couple of problems.
When I try to change the size of my header logo, the entire banner enlarges or diminishes. Any idea what I am doing wrong?
Secondly I wish to place a banner on either side of the BBS panel. Do you have an idea how this could be done?
I've seen several others asking but have not found a site that has such a feature.
Many thanks

The header graphic is a 'background image'. So the 'site_logo.png' basically sizes that panel. If you make a new site logo, try to size it as close to the original as possible.

Can't help you there. Sorry.

Check the 'Attachment Settings' in the ACP. If the image is larger than the allowed settings, it will appear as a link.

If this is not what you mean, could you please explain further?

Thanks
inline attached images show correctely with other styles
so it is not an ACP settings issue
Now I fixed the probleme by overwriting Autumcolr's attachement.html file, by the one from prosilver style :)
