Thank you MOD Team validating this mod.
************
AutoMOD install 1.0.4 on 3.0.7-PL1 just fine. Using AutoMOD is recommended.
Also, don't forget to run database update script after file edits. See DIY section in install.xml

This module only displays shadow topics, so, they can be easily listed and deleted.

Do the shadow topics trigger email notifications for the forums they are placed in? I require email notifications to go out to all forum subscribers for all forums the shadow topics are placed in.

Thanks

No, that is nothing to do with this mod. This mod only brings the ability to set limited time shadow topics. Also adds an mcp module to easily delete shadow topics.
I abandoned all of my mods.

How does it recognise which are shadows? Would it be an easy addition to enable the email feature?

Thanks

You should add code line in your sql

Code: Select all

WHERE topic_status = ' . ITEM_MOVED . '
I don't intend to add any new feature to this mod.

I don't know.

Can you please post the non-UMIL SQL schema?

Sorry, I have no schema, since I only prepared UMIL script.
What is the problem with UMIL install script?

Anyway, this is the sql code to run in phpMyAdmin

Code: Select all

INSERT INTO phpbb_config (config_name, config_value, is_dynamic) VALUES ('shadow_prune_enable', '1.0.3', '0');
INSERT INTO phpbb_config (config_name, config_value, is_dynamic) VALUES ('shadow_prune_enable', '24', '0');
INSERT INTO phpbb_config (config_name, config_value, is_dynamic) VALUES ('shadow_prune_time', '0', '1');
ALTER TABLE phpbb_topics  ADD COLUMN topic_shadow_time INT(11) UNSIGNED NOT NULL DEFAULT '0';
After running this sql code, you need to add mcp module manually at ACP. UMIL script does all of them automatically.
I abandoned all of my mods.

What does the added option "enter 0 for intact" when moving a topic exactly mean?

Does it mean the value configured in the ACP will be used?
If so, how could I display it there as a default ... which would be helpful I think?

thanks,
