Urgent: Need Group name in viewtopic help!!

okay, How do i make it to where the person posting's stats on the left(or right) side of the page along with the avatar/rank/posts/etc.. shows what group they are in...

I made a crappy photoshopped pic to demonstrate what i mean.
as you can see i moved the rank title underneath the avatar and would like the group thing above the joined date.

also, I would like to be able to add colors to CERTAIN RANK titles, like trusted = blue, and moderator = green normal = normal color



can anyone help me???

You can use a custom profile field for this.

But i have a few already, and do not wish them to show, is there anyway you can help me with that?

For the ones you do not want to show, set Publicly display profile field to No on the Visibility options.

Make sure Display custom profile fields in user profiles is set to Yes in Load settings.

First one: ACP, Users and Groups, Custom profile fields, Settings (green gear icon), Visibility options

Second: ACP, General tab, Load settings, Custom profile field settings.

okay, but then it shows ALL custom profile fields in the viewtopic, i only want the Group to show, and also would like it to grab the user who posted's group name from the database and display it after group: like in the pic.

Why not just make the Group rank the same as the group name? Like we do it here. Yours says registered user, Mine says Support Team member, etc.

I have custom profile fields like, favorite bands, referrer, gender, name, that I ONLY want in profile.

want im looking for in some coding to put in the viewtopic.php or the viewtopic.html(or viewtopic_body.html)

but there seems to be no group name variable.

In the visibility settings for the ones you want to show in the Profile but not View topic, check
Hide profile field and Display in user control panel.

What I want is SOME of the profile fields to show in the profiles and NOT in the viewtopic.

and the GROUP profile field to show in the viewtopic AND profile.

like the picture. Much like how it is in the user's profile, with the group thing.(just no select box, only the default group should display)

Shouldn't. Please post a screenshot of the visibility settings of a field you want in both Profile and viewtopic and of one you only want in Profile.

Also please a screenshot of the Custom profile field load settings.
