MOD Validated/Released

Notes:
Pop this into EasyMOD and have your forum upgraded in a matter of seconds or do it by hand. This is great to have if you have a moddified board.

Make sure you run upgrade file that is included in the phpBB packages

You just want the .txt file, not either of the HTML files for EasyMOD :)

How does one update the version number on ones board?

What file is the code in? Is it even possible? Mine reads 2.0.6 but I have done the updates to 2.0.8...

After completing the updates, you still need to download the latest phpBB package from the downloads page.

Then, run the update file and schemas which will make appropriate modifications as needed to your database from that pack. It will update the version # for you.

FYI, the version # is stored in your phpbb_config database table (replace phpbb_ with your table prefix). But, it's best to use the update files to do it as each upgrade may have made changes to the database as well.
