farsi/english alignment problem

Post by borlandology »

Hi
I'm using Farsi translation. every thing works fine except, when i submit a topic or post in English, all the things (text, pictures, links, etc) align to the right side.
how can i align English texts to the left?
Thanks

borlandology, welcome to our community.
Are you saying that if you post something in English the components of your forums go to the right side? Well, it doesn't appear to be a problem concerning the language, but concerning your phpBB style. Wich style are you using right now? You will have to change your style files in order to alter the position to the left of the page.

Thanks
The style name is X-Treme and it's extremely nice for me !!
Not the components, but the post contents itself (i said everything works fine except...)
(suppose this, starts from right side)----------------------------------------------------------------> From here
I want Farsi posts to be RTL and English posts to be LTR

Keep in mind that be have a 6-hour bump rule. :)

Concerning your question, if I understood it correctly. You want to have certain posts in LTR alignment, and some others in the RTL alignment?

That's unfortunately not possible. Inside a translation, you can define whether you want the alignment to be LTR or RTL, but that's then a board-wide alignment, you can't choose at each post which alignment you want to use, in that case you will need a modification.

In fact not. :)
You first post was sent at 1:07 pm, and the second at 5:34 pm. So, you haven't waited the 6 hours enough in order to bump your topic. Take care. Regards.
