[HELP] Translating files

Post by PinoyEngine™ »

hello!
I am currently annoyed by this code:

Code: Select all

* @version $Id: groups.php 8479 2008-03-29 00:22:48Z naderman $
Where can I get those codes to it on my own translated files?

Thanks.

Those are automatically added if you use SVN or a similar revision control system.

You can then add $Id$ to your files and if you set Id as a svn keyword, the timestamp and commiter will be automatically replaced.

Thanks.

Btw, can I translate files without using SVN?
I do not know if I can really update those files very often since our language never change and I am always making everything perfect.

Of course, it's not a requirement. However I would recommend you to fill that line in manually at least partially. Sometimes it's useful to know what version of the file you have on your board.

Yes, that's right.
It's very much work indeed, but your translation will be very much better than when you use a tool. :)

The prosilver GDK is available here: http://www.phpbb.com/community/viewtopi ... 6&t=542993
You can submit your work when you are completely done to the Languages page. :)
