@ Zvjer ~ I completely understand you so there is no need for any apology or anything like that. I myself work on different jobs so it's also a tight schedule ;)

As I said when I started translating it, I am not linguist as Ancica and probably wasn't able to maintain same level of quality, but since no one else updated it I wanted to give it a try. If you find any mistake or have any suggestion I will be more than happy to listen and implement it.

Small note about translation "style": Although I am not linguist or educated in field of translation like Ancica was and although I believe she did amazing work translating it through the years, I do have my own "style" of translating and I will never use some words like she did because I believe they are not "user friendly" so I have replaced some of them with my own translation.

One example is word "login". She always translated it as "loginirati" which I personally find really user unfriendly and something I would never ever use in real life conversation or anywhere else so I used something that is more commonly used: "logirati" or "prijaviti se". In my opinion these are much more user friendly, easier to pronounce and more widely used in common language. Basically it's still correct translation of the same thing, but as said, in different "style" ;)

@ Encore204 ~ Thank you for your positive feedback and suggestion. I really appreciate it ;)

Will include your suggestion/correction in the next update of the language pack (I am planning to check every file on my test server and make some corrections so that some parts "sound better" and more user friendly) ;)

I have one major correction:
password = lozinka

A group of ubuntu-hr translators is willing to help with phpbb translation.
To who can we send our corrections?

password = Zaporka
this phpBB (HR) translation is correct, so can be zaporka and lozinka
example:
Password - Zaporka, lozinka, šifra; tajni niz znakova kojim se pristup podacima omogućuje samo ovlaštenim osobama.
Anić, Silić: PRAVOPISNI PRIRUČNIK HRVATSKOGA ILI SRPSKOGA JEZIKA, u izdanju Školske knjige Zagreb iz 1986.g. : Zaporka
Englesko - Hrvatski informatički enciklopedijski riječnik 2005.g.: Lozinka, zaporka. Tajni niz znakova koji korisniku omogućuje pristup ...
google example zaporka:
http://www.google.com/support/accounts/ ... swer=27444

Yes, those are correct dictionary translations, but ...
It is stupid to have 3 different translations for one term, especially when all of them don't fit the spirit of translation.
In IT/software/computers/... it is custom to use lozinka.

You quote google, so will I : http://translate.google.com/#et|hr|password
Google translation for password is lozinka

I translate various open source projects to croatian since 2004, including openoffice, ubuntu, gnome, ... on http://lokalizacija.linux.hr/ , on https://launchpad.net/ and off-line using .po files so I have experience with translation.

We had trouble with lozinka vs zaporka(and some other terms that were different in different translation teams) in croatian translation open source community so we agreed that the correct translation for password is lozinka.

Ubuntu-hr team set a list of terms and how to translate them so we have an unified translation. Term password has detailed explanation(only in croatian) why to use the right translation: http://www.ubuntu-hr.org/wiki/izraz:Password
Fell free to use those translations :D

There is a plan to create a unified glossary from all translation teams with unified terms for all translation, still a working process...

So please use lozinka for phpbb :D
