Thanks for the info Rich but where's the custom page?
I have the Yes radio button in the ACP selected but I don't see any custom page or any link to it.

A question to the mChat developers:

i use the style "Twilight", and after I modified those style files by myself (since the installation didn't make the necessary changes in those style files), I can see now the "Chat" link at the top. Everything works well.

But what I want is a chat button like the other ones at the top of the "Twilight" style. i made the graphic files already, but i encounter big problems to make that graphic file appearing.

My question now is, how to give a button graphic to the mChat link?
Thanks for reading, good intentions, your time and a good answer.

The link to the custom page should say "chat" in the top of your forum.

I've mChat installed (several times) but at the moment when the mChat refresh after 10 seconds then load the index of my portal in the chat window. After every 10 seconds so there is an index in the chat window and the messages are at the bottom of the chat window.

(What tricky to explain) Image

Does anyone here know a solution?
ps
I used the old umil becouse when i use the new then i dont get the database changes.

I installed the mChat on my Board yesterday, but in does not work!
The buttons send bbcodes and smilies don't react by clicking and firebug shows me the following errors:
missing ; before statement
[Break on this error] {var r=document.body.createTextRange()...file by determining it's width/height\n
Mchat.php on line 204

Code: Select all

    {var r=document.body.createTextRange();r.moveToElementText(e);r.select();}}uicktime file by determining it's width/height
mChat is undefined

There is no such find found within mchat.php. Saying that, double check your edits to editor.js as that is where the error is coming from.

It installs fine on a 3.0.7 forum and permissions are standard.

Air-Warrior, I really can't tell anything from a picture. I would need a test account with the permissions to view the chat.

+1 for this. I understand it's not available at this time.

Thanks.

Ok it's not available at this time, but this is my mchat with some modifications

So in this form, no interest to reverse the way it scrolls :D

For the Idea you can download my files

A question for Rich
I use also Top Five mod and Text hover mouse mod (very good).
Have you any idea to add the text hover mouse to new topic and topic answer in the mchat ??
You do not have the required permissions to view the files attached to this post.

You would have to join the posts table onto the post id stored in the mchat database.

There is nothing to do. The mod installs fine and works fine on a 3.0.7 forum.
