[MODDB] User IP Logs

Description: This mod will log all unique ip's from all registered users as they log in.

To avoid redundant logging the mod only records unique IP's for each user. If a user log's on with an IP that they have no previously logged in with, the new IP will be recorded.

The mod add's a new section to the logs area in the ACP which allow's you to very easily view the User IP Logs.

Version: 1.0.0

Installation level: Easy

Installation time: ~10 minutes

p.s. Added a screenshot to the first post. It shows the log view screen in the ACP. It only shows one entry because its from my test site.

I am no longer sure if i am going to submit this mod to the moddb because it is not generating any interest so if you want to see the mod stay alive, please post.

This seems to be incompatible with the Advanced Block MOD.

Instead of having 2 separate logs, they seemed to be merged after installing this mod. From that MOD I have this in constants.php:

define('LOG_BLOCK', 4);

So I changed

Code: Select all

define('LOG_USERS_IP', 4);

to

Code: Select all

define('LOG_USERS_IP', 5);

And now all is fine.

Glad you got it working!

I am submitting the mod to the MODDB today and am re-titling it from 'Log Users IP' to 'User IP Logs'. The RC download still uses the old title but the mod/docs/files have been updated for the copy going to MODDB (1.0.0).
