[split from] Discuss phpBB 3.0.7 released

Post by aaalba » Thu Mar 04, 2010 2:07 pm

when i updated from 3.05 to 3.07 THE acp_send_statistics.php file was MISSING.

I used auto updater.

Futhemore, now when i uploaded the file from full 3.07 package it show the error when i press something with statistics mods:

/styles/prosilver/template/acp_send_statistics.html does not exist or is empty

I think that automod is really bad to upload, better change files .

Can i wait till 3.08 version than update 3.05 to 3.08 ?

By the way, where is quick reply mod?

I have just split the above two posts from the Discussion topic at http://www.phpbb.com/community/viewtopi ... &t=2005545

aaalba, please do not post support questions in the Discussion forum.

Missing when? That file is NOT a part of phpBB, just of a MOD you installed.
The updater does NOT delete files, so if it was missing after the update, you did something to delete it.

How exactly did you do this update?

Sorry, that was incorrect, it HAS been there since 3.0.6
That file IS present in the 3.0.5 to 3.0.7 update package, but not in the 3.0.6 to 3.0.7 package. Are you sure you downloaded the correct one?

I have the same error after upgrading from 3.0.5 to 3.0.7-PL1. I used the automatic upgrade package, downloading the "latest stable" version of the update package.

As far as I can tell, the only file that was added during the upgrade was feed.php. Any suggestions on how to fix this error below?

Also in the Admin panel, the language file doesn't seem to have been updated, since the link bringing me to the error below says "ACP_SEND_STATISTICS".
General Error
Cannot find module ./../includes/acp/acp_send_statistics.php

You probably downloaded the 3.0.7 to 3.0.7-PL1 package from phpbb.com. You should have chosen the source version 3.0.5.

Ouch, you're right, I didn't read the option.

How would you suggest going from here?

That depends. Do you have mods installed? Do you have a back-up of the 3.0.5 filesystem before you updated?

As far as I can tell, the two plugins I have installed are Anti Bot Question and phpBB SEO.

Yes, I have the entire folder backed up. If I swapped this backup folder for my live folder I see a couple of potential issues, what do you think? Those are the loss of avatars uploaded since I updated, and the fact that my database structure was already updated by the upgrade process that I went through...

Where would you see going from here?

If you ran the 3.0.7 to 3.0.7-PL1 update you only have to upload /feed.php and /includes/constants.php

That should not harm.

After you uploaded the files from your backup redo the update using the correct package.
