Please bear in mind there is a 6 hour bump limit.

Yes its advised to update to the latest, and when skipping to 3.0.8 the updater will do the same thing

If you are running 3.0.7 with feeds enabled, it's highly recommended.

I can only find updates for 3.0.2 and above.

I have 3.0.0. How do I update this? Or do I have to do a completely fresh installation?

Hi!

Does that mean, that if I'm running 3.0.6 it is better or at least not critical not to update to 3.0.7-PL1?
I would prefer not to update too often if not neccessary.
I would like to wait for 3.0.8, update once and done...

3.0.7 has been a major update with several new features and respectable changes - but no fixes of possible critical security issues, indeed, but lots of other nasty bug-fixes. The security-patch 3.0.7-PL1 only refers to the feed-feature introduced in 3.0.7. If I were you, I'd take every (!) update untill 3.0.7-PL1 as soon as possible, as 3.0.8 shouldn't be a great deal (in its current state).

I think we would all prefer that but it has to be done unfortunately, it is all part and parcel of a board owners work. If you keep up with the changes updating isn't too diffcult.

Can I uprage my current Version 3.0.5 to 3.0.7-PL1
and which package doo I have to use?

I have modifications made on the board.

Hi - I own a small size hobby board with about a million posts.

And am totally non tech minded and no-one else there is, so we do not know how to do these things. And am not game to hit the "update" button!

Most here are serious techies it seems, so apologies for the non tech question!

We have 3.04 now and I was going to wait for 3.0.8 to update us -- sorry if I missed the info with expected date of 3.0.8 being available .. does anyone know please, that might be able to advise?

phpBB 3.0.8 will be released when it is ready. There is no release date.
