The new Facebook like button

Post by Larsen82 »

Facebook announced yesterday a new way to integrate the Facebook LIKE button on sites. You can now as they say use a simple iframt (html) code to integrate it to sites.

Would love a MOD that integrate this LIKE button on all new posts that is made in a phpbb forum.

Best regards

I need to know how to do this. Not just sharing. That defeats the whole purpose of what Facebook's API's are for. They want to use your information to help you connect with other users. I want my board to help people connect... Not just post arbitrary links on their Facebook profile.

Copy the generated code, and paste it in your site:

Post it anywhere on your site.
You dont see the button, until you clear your cache!!! :)

Quick question Artistrix, if I want it to display on each post where would I copy the facebook code to?

in viewtopic_body.html I think... (but I found it not very pretty) so I put it on the top in my overall_footer.html instead :P

This is where I dont know what to do... So Ive added this as a MOD request:

http://www.phpbb.com/community/viewtopi ... &t=2075945

This will complete "every" aspect of the issues to the Facebook Platform. Insted of having lots of small file-edits, it would be great to be able to turn theese on/of in the ACP.

Dont you agree? ;)
