It would definitely not be You can switch on and switch off every module, it means you can switch on ONLY Instant Messenger module and nothing else.

i have installed phpbbchat on my forum . when i installed it was worked perfectly.

First, thanks for this mod it is so awesome =) But ı want some thing from you. Can you add a selection at user control panel like that

Though I can't get the demo to allow me to sign in, sounds like you did a great job on this.
I have two questions:

1. Where/how do I confirm my version of PHP?
2. I notice that you have a umil folder that has to uploaded. I have another mod that also had a complete umil folder upload. I'm assuming that yours will overwrite and therefore undo the other mod. Is there a way to avoid this? A way to edit the shared files to "add" your mods?

This mod is currently in a frozen state, I guess. But I still use it on my sites and it works perfectly, so it's pretty mature. I will leave it in BETA state, cause I might want to add features or change something, and it's easier in this section.

works perfectly for me on a site with 6,000 users, though I do have my own dedicated server, 2GB Ram, Athlon CPU.

Only one thing I found troublesome, maybe not to do with the chat mod but FRAM, if I make a friend request, it seems the chat will not work if they do not also make a friend request back to me.

I.e. I make friend request, they accept

Chat still does not work.

They then make friend request to me and I accept

Chat works.

Is this a wierd thing around Fram or Chat?

It would be better once a friend request was accepted, it worked straight away.

Apart from that, it is a brilliant mod and has kept my users online, increasing the time they spend on my site and not on others, hehe
