I'd like to know this as well. I just exported from my database and improted into Mailchimp. It's not that hard to do but does take a few minutes. Mailchimp is good at least about auto-updating the list (i.e. not putting in duplicates or anything)
What I'd love to see is my forum member's emails sync'd in real time with a MailChimp email list, so I don't have to make manual updates that sometimes number in the hundreds.
I could really use this as well and am actually rather surprised that no one has gone about creating a mod for this. I may try creating something on my own, but I documentation for the API is a bit confusing, although that's probably just my lack of knowledge.
Just starting off with MailChimp. My board has been active for 2 years (www.hoteldealsrevealed.com/forum) and my concern is all the old email addresses. MailChimp will surely suspend my account when I get a plethora of undeliverable emails. Thoughts?
I see that this forum is dated, still, I am interested in the same integration between phpbb and mailchimp. I did not see any clear answer. Can someone point me to the right answer or a good alternative?
I am also interested in this. Would like to start php-programming as well, so will probably combine the two. Is there anyone else interested in a mod for this?
