Thanks, I'll be glad to be a beta tester on a live audience. i have both a Facebook and a forum audience, it will be interesting to finally see them mingle.

this is what im working on right now. A personall comments system as facebook is hopeless. They dont match the page that is liked. You cant change the color like the old fan box could with css.

The comments box I am working on atm. Coming along nicely.

add like, unlike

add delete

add admin settings to comments

add moderate comments

style it a bit better

fix up post from page admin

About "Facebook Profile IM's": There is a mod that allows all "IM" fields to be available at Registration page.

If you want to ink: Google Talk, QIP and VKontacte, then use "Jabber" field because all of those service use Jabber(XMPP).

For linking "Gadu-Gadu": those are part of the code from "Add Gadu-Gadu, Tlen and Skype IM into phpbb3"

Gave up on the custom comments due to lack of support for it via facebook graph api or FQL.

The problem lies in the admin part. I can send a post request to facebook with the admin settings set in PhpBB but if the admin changes the settings from facebook then there is no way to retrieve those settings and every time the custom comments box is loaded will over write those setting unless the admin changes them on PhpBB. So it kills the idea of custom comments. Lets just hope that facebook will support custom css like fb:fan-box does. It's sorta like PhpBB releases 4.0 and you can only use the mods that PhpBB supply with the default style. That's the only sort of comparison I can come up with. I should have scrapped the idea of the custom comments from the start but thought it would be good to offer a custom style so user can change what ever they want to suit there forum/style.

If you would like to see anything else provided/intergrated into FB2011 please leave some suggestions here.

i.e like box for topics or index.php live stream, add friends in profile fields on memberslist/posts, facebook user gallery in profile...... Just some suggestions. If not I can finish the package now and release as beta.

My use case is that I have a fan page on Facebook. Right now, I use a feed service to publish to the Facebook page.

It would be great if comments that get posted on PhPBB also get published on a fan page. I think that's basically one additional API call to Facebook.

The only other issue is security. Facebook has 500 million users, there are plenty of spammers on Facebook. So there should be a way to limit which accounts can join currently I manually review registrations. How would you do that with the login with Facebook feature?
