Mustang-man, this is the first time I have seen this topic. . .

Have you enabled debug mode? Who is your host? What version of php/mysql are you using? What os? What server software? Any mods installed on your board?

However, using the search function would be much easier. This has been discussed before.

*Ahem....

Have you enabled debug mode? No. Don't know how to.
Who is your host? Lycos Tripod UK
What version of php/mysql are you using? Not sure.
What os? ?? I'm using XP.
What server software? Not sure.
Any mods installed on your board? Not that i know of.

I got Kylecool to install them for me, because i don't have a clue what to do. :( Wish i did though.

Here's the URL for them.
http://members.lycos.co.uk/mmsf/forums/index.php

If you know how to fix it, i can give you all the info you need. :)

Oh and Verteron, in case you are wondering, i am not a complete forum Newbie, as i have been posting in lots of different forums for years.

I was just a little annoyed last night, which is why i kept "upping" this topic. (and it was 2 in the morning.)

OK i've done what the tutorial said about the debug mode. But I still get a General error, although it's a little different from the previous one:

General Error

Could not query forums information

DEBUG MODE

SQL Error : 1 Can't create/write to file '/tmp/#sql7dbc_56a89_0.MYD' (Errcode: 28 )

SELECT f.*, p.post_time, p.post_username, u.username, u.user_id FROM (( phpbb_forums f LEFT JOIN phpbb_posts p ON p.post_id = f.forum_last_post_id ) LEFT JOIN phpbb_users u ON u.user_id = p.poster_id ) ORDER BY f.cat_id, f.forum_order

Line : 165
File : /data/members/free/tripod/nl/mywebsite

Kinda weird imho :?
