I apply this permission on all folders and the tag does not work. Any ideas? : -)

The MOD works for the old attachments?

Yes, old attachments work's. If I upload a new attachment's, link is OK. And preview post with attachment is too OK. The problem occurs when I send a post. I see only text with name attachment. For example: "image.jpg".

Ok, so I think you've made some mistake in applying the MOD.

I suggest to restart from the original files and install it again.

Good health to the author!
After installing the mod and the script has another folder files_new. Why is it and why?

Hi Pthelovod
Probably you stopped the script move_attachments_in_subfolders.php before the end of the process.

Run it again and let it ends as required.

Uh-oh. I'm getting "This webpage is not available" when I go to the modification download link. Is it available anywhere else?

OK, the site's back up, and I was able to grab the zip. Thanks, Fabio! I'm really looking forward to trying this mod.

one more question.

What in case we copy thread ? I was playing with MOD and seems that after copying (and automatic creating of new folder because of another 100 files in DB - because my thread contained files) I am missing some attachments...
Hi wile,
you're right, it seems that the mod doesn't work in case of thread copy, since the attachments get each one a new attachment ID. The solution could be to duplicate the attachments, but I don't know if it's a good idea... I have to think a bit about it.

At this moment I suggest you to not use the copy feature OR to not use this MOD.

:)
Fabio, instead of copying the entire file, what about just copying the pointer to the same file(s)? I realize that if the original post with images got deleted, it would affect the copied post - but that's an unlikely event.

Hi Dan,
my personal VPS goes down for hours today, this is the reason why you wasn't able to download the mod.

About the thread copy, I still not have a solution mainly because I'm really really overloaded of jobs and commitments in this period and I don't have time...

Probably I'll be able to fix it at the end of the summer.

:)
