despite making my cookie setting as shown above I still have members moaning that Log me on automatically each visit is not working

I went from .mac.mazliach.com to mac.mazliach.com after advice I saw on another thread

in both situations I personally did not suffer the problem complained of by a few other members of my site, so it is difficult for me to imagine what the cause is

would a good try to resolve this be to advise members to clear their browser history? I think I read somewhere else try clearing browser cookies? how do you do that?

Use the delete all board cookies link.
Or just change your actual cookie via the ACP.

You have not changed your cookie domain. It still shows http://www.mac.mazliach.com. That is wrong.
