Converting from PunBB 1.3.6

Using the last move_salt I found in here I get this in my httpd-error.log

PHP Fatal error:  Call to a member function session_begin() on a non-object in /var/www/html/phpBB2/move_salt.php on line 16

Since bertie343 got this working, and it can't be from using pun-1.3.6, I gotta be missing something.
The file is in the phpBB root but when starting it, nothing happens and with the above error I sure can
understand why
I've tried the install/db-import/pun2phpbb and this lots of times with the same result.
Can anyone tell me what step I missing?


UPDATE: I'm using Linux and it's on one of my own servers.
