Glad to hear it...VEG wrote:I'm planning to port this mod to phpBB 3.1 ASAP.
From what I understand you don't have SSL in your page so you cannot make tests.VEG wrote:Sorry, I haven't tested this mod with https.
I'm sorry, I didn't understand what you mean. Do you mean flexible width of the video player according to the width of the page? Yes, I have this point in my TODO list.aleha wrote:Do you have any current/future plans on making this awesome mod also responsive which is much needed? Maybe styling the iframe and putting it in a stylish div block will do the work.
Yes, I'm planning to add support for Photobucket videos. Examples of page URL's and it's embedding codes can be helpful.chewit wrote:Any chance you could add support for Photobucket videos? Happy to PM you some links and embed codes if it helps.
I can detect that BB [media] is used on a page with HTTPS protocol and in this case I can use embedding code with HTTPS if possible. But unfortunately not all services support HTTPS. I'll add this feature for major services in a week.aleha wrote:I see that in your code, regardless the http or https the user suplied, you always return the http link to the according player.
Are you planning on changing this, so that you return the choice that the user supplied ? i.e. if the user supplied an https link to youtube, return the https address of the youtube player.
You should use the bbmedia.php from the install_bbmedia.zip if your board works via HTTPS. It avoids at least one HTTP request to phpbbex.com.aleha wrote:As I wrote in my previous post, in an https board you cannot use effectively the media bbcode because it's very annoying to the users with the major browsers (Firefox, Chrome, maybe others)!
As I said before, I'll fix this problem ASAP. So, your script is not a necessity.aleha wrote:Since you use a CC BY-NC-ND license, I am here asking permission from you to post this search & replace script to also help other users that run exclusively on https (without any warranties from you or me of course).
