not sure what you are saying. both of those are the same. you have changed the bg.gif to black and that is what is being used there. the only thing that is different is that there is only one forum listed so the black background image works all the way around the border.

Open styles/prosilver/theme/colours.css
Find:

Code: Select all

.forabg {
	background-color: #0076b1;
	background-image: url("{T_THEME_PATH}/images/bg_list.gif");
}
Replace with:

Code: Select all

.forabg {
	background-color: #010101;
	background-image: url("{T_THEME_PATH}/images/bg_list.gif");
}
Find:

Code: Select all

.forumbg {
	background-color: #12A3EB;
	background-image: url("{T_THEME_PATH}/images/bg_header.gif");
}
Replace with:

Code: Select all

.forumbg {
	background-color: #3A3A3A;
	background-image: url("{T_THEME_PATH}/images/bg_header.gif");
}
Refresh the theme of your style.

i overlooked this response.

but why in the index.php gradient.gif works as a unhighlightened background and when i click any of the forum category it doesnt do the same job there?

also, the boarders for the categories that i used are gradients just as in index.php, so why is it different within the category? while there is clearly no black gif background within my images?

i mean both bg_header.gif and bg_list.gif are gradients, so what to do?

It's normal for me. Try CTRL+F5 or remove the cache of your browser.

thanks, guess it was that.

one more question concerning styles;

how can i change posts' background, i mean i don't want this #CCCCCC background and i want a different color, moreover it would be good if every second post had a different color (one grey, and the second grayer- then repeat), if you know what i mean.

http://rekompozycja.pl/forum/viewtopic.php?f=8&t=11

i would like to have a lighter color here, and as i said, every second post to have a darker or simply other background.

styles/prosilver/theme/colours.css

Code: Select all

.bg1	{ background-color: #cecece; }
.bg2	{ background-color: #cacaca;  }
Here your colors.

Remove this style="border: 1px solid #000000;" from viewtopic_body.html.
