I'd like to request a BBVideo option for embedding WebM files. WebM is currently on the rise across the internet, partially because it can be used as a replacement for animated GIFs while allowing full color range, 60fps framerates and 1080p resolution. I can easily make a custom BBCode using ABBC3 which embeds webms using the html5 video element, but since BBVideo is such a video allrounder already, I'd love if it also received webm support.

That WebM probably won't be added as browser support is just too limited (it does not even work with Safari which is most definitely a modern browser, and you have to be enrolled in some YouTube program). BBVideo is currently reserved for video hosting/sharing sites that allow embedding of their video content. BBVideo is staying away from codecs and platform specifics.

Good to know it's been cleaned up for 3.1. If I remember right, the 3.0.x version was a ported one from an old phpbb2 version that never made it to the mod database. and even then it was dropped and picked up by few mod authors.

i Instal that extension, enable it and use it for a few posts. Then i decide to disable it. I disable the extension and press delete data but some of the buttons like youtube, soundcloud, sup and etc. are still there.

If those BBCodes were removed upon uninstallation, it would break all posts made that used them. For that reason, the BBCodes it created are left behind, so old posts won't break, and you can continue using them. If you want to remove any of them, they are custom bbcodes, so just go to the custom bbcodes section in the ACP and hide, delete or edit them.
