sw0277 wrote:@david63, sorry man but I found another little issue, lol...

After clicking "I Accept" on the popup message, refresh the page and scroll to the bottom. Right above the bottom menu is another message asking you to accept.
I cannot reproduce this.

When you re-downloaded did you delete the "old" files? If not delete the files and re-upload

Yeah I did... I disabled your extension, deleted extension data, deleted from server, purged cache. Then re-uploaded extension/enabled it...

I am having the same problem as sw.

disabled>deleted data>deleted files>uploaded files>enabled>purged browser cache

Image

clicking 'accept' in the dialogue removes the text

Viewing the forum in a private browsing window and accepting the cookie works perfectly, so I assume its a caching problem somewhere, but clearing both FF and phpBB cache makes no difference?

going back to 1.0.1 works perfectly with no extra dialogue

It looks as if it is an events and/or switches problem - I will look into it later

Anyone had and can upload previous version of this extensions? Got it one stupid error, when i google it then it is easier copy-paste files again.

Code: Select all

[phpBB Debug] PHP Warning: in file [ROOT]/phpbb/class_loader.php on line 160: require(./ext/david63/cookiepolicy/event/listener.php): failed to open stream: No such file or directory
david63 wrote:I have updated this to version 1.1.0

There has been a lot of reworking of the code and the options have been simplified. The big addition is that you can now customise the colours for both the Cookie Policy page and the Cookie Acceptance box.

(It has also meant that the language files have had some significant changes made to them)

I get the following error when trying to install:

Code: Select all

Something went wrong during the request and an exception was thrown. The changes made before the error occurred were reversed to the best of our abilities, but you should check the board for errors.
The config setting "version_cookiepolicy" unexpectedly does not exist.
phpBB 3.1.4.

I am not getting that error. It may be that you have a corrupt/incomplete file. Try re-downloading, unzipping, upload and then enable.

phpBB 3.1.4.

The error is in migrations version_1_1_0.php line 16 return array('david63\cookiepolicy\migrations\version_1_0_0'); should be 1_1_0

But after changing this line tells me the following

Code: Select all
