Hmm ok!

I deleted my sitemap.xml and changed sitemap.xml cache time to "1" hour. I think after one hour later it will created by extensions 8-)

Thanks a lot :)
Cache time:
To reduce server load, sitemap will be cached for some time. After this time it will be re-created. Enter the number of hours for which sitemap will be cached or enter 0 for disable caching.

EDIT: Oh good, glad it's working for you, especially as you seem to use human readable url's too.

Ah yes, you could put cache time to '0' for now until it's constructed, you can even leave it at '0' if you don't have too much traffic etc.

Volksdevil wrote:Cool, that looks intersting. But I already made a change to your extension seo sitemap, by just removing the f= parameter. Would it be worth me putting that back and then using your other extension?
I can not give an answer to this question, but can advise guided by what URLs you want to see in the search results and whether are you satisfied with indexation of your site by search engines. Read this about canonical and sitemap: https://support.google.com/webmasters/a ... 9066?hl=en

Put 0 only if there are no problems with the server load.

great work, but it don't include galery and additional pages. so the sitemap is not complete.
and btw.: the generated sitemap is not accepted by the google-webmastertools !

I think the sitemap is made for standard phpbb3 and not for phpbb3 + n(insert extension name)
And you are wrong, the sitemap is accepted by google webmastertools. At least for me (2 forums)

Thanks for this extension. This really needs to be built into the core phpBB.

Was having a problem, now I read the instructions properly, it was a user problem. :D

I've installed the Extension, but when i go to myforum.subdomain.org/sitemap.xml say:

"The service for the controller "shredder.sitemap.controller" is not defined in ./config/services.yml."

Why?

---------- EDIT -----------

The problem is solved by itself!

For those that have done this for web.config, can you post the full instructions you used to get this to work? I have tried all of the suggestions but am missing something some where and it would be nice to have it in one post.

Thanks!

Hi,
after some weeks working great, today I realize that the sitemap.xml is corrupped.

opening in firefox it show me:

Error loading stylesheet: Parsing an XPath expression failed.

I tried to delete the cache from ACP, disable and delete the data from Personalization/Extensions, then reinstall It, but nothing is changed.

Any idea how I can solve this problem?

My sitemap: http://www.faidateoffgrid.org/forum/sitemap.xml

Everything works, a map generates around. But ...

Where the ACP is configured? I do not see. [Outdated - I had to manually add a module to the menu.]

Cache is stored in /store and is a directory blocked by robots.txt (recommended by the phpBB).

Appears to be something with my extension. Not entirely sure right now.

Re:After update to 3.1.5 no new sitemap generated!

Post by Airwin »

Hi all

This week it turned out my phpbb got automatically updated to 3.1.5 (installatron did since I forgot to switch off auto update :| ).
However I notice now that no new sitemap is generated anymore after June 9th?
So I disabled, removed and re-installed the extension but again, only the same 3 url's from June 9th were back.
Next step I removed the whole file "Schredder" installed again, switched everything back on and...........nothing, again the same 3 url's from June 9th.
Anybody knows what can be the problem here?
Since the 9th of June are the only 3 urls I see in the sitemap don't give me the idea 3.1.5 is causing it since that one was installed on the 17th of June.
I see no errors or whatsoever that it should not work.
Any help is appreciated!
