Anyway now that I think about it, this is a topic dedicated to an extension that facilitates some tasks.

I certainly don't think it's the right place to learn how to write code, you should ask elsewhere.

I apologize to the author of the extension @martti for my involvement.

A question about server load settings. If this particular setting:

 Recompile stale style components:

Check for updated style components on filesystem and recompile.

...is set to yes, might that obviate the need to purge the cache after editing Custom Code files?

It appears to work! Changes I make, e.g., to viewforum_body_topic_row_prepend.html are reflected in the appearance of my website if I set this to "yes", and save without purging; but the changes are *not* reflected if I set this to "no", and again save without purging.

Hi! Does it work with 3.3.3 version? I've tried some examples from second post, nothing happened

When I wanted to add a code I got this error message

[phpBB Debug] PHP Warning: in file [ROOT]/ext/marttiphpbb/customcode/model/customcode_directory.php on line 120: String offset cast occurred

This error message does not appear when trying to edit files.
