Same error for me, trying to migrate from 1.8.3 to 3.1.2.

I'm not much of a php guru, but this looks like it shouldn't be too big a fix - seems like it's an initialization problem of some sort.

Anyone if this knows with 1.6 too or just 1.8?

Also the phpBB forum I'm migrating to I wish to retain the data (posts, users etc) anyone aware of how to do that?

Bumping this thread, in the hope this convertor can get patched - I've inherited a MyBB board and it's horrible!
