I have finally gotten this to work, somewhat with my conversion from MyBB.

Now, admin and all users cannot see any forums. It looks like an empty forum.

Also, I cannot change the passwords for users or I get this problem:

Bruno36, the error is pretty self explanatory. You are either doing a duplicate conversion, or your old forum had two users who's "clean" username was the same.

Please ensure that the settings were transferred correctly before enabling your board by deleting the install directory. Remember that help on using phpBB is available online via the Documentation and the support forums.

When I click in Access your board, to que forum root, I am redirected to the installation page.

What is the problem? No errors were displayed during the installation of phpBB or during conversion. Before conversion, the new installation of phpBB was working.

I'm trying to convert from the latest version of MyBB. As soon as it tries to start the conversion process I get a Server Error (500). "The website encountered an error while retrieving http://*******.org/phpbb/install/index.php?mode=convert&sub=in_progress&tag=mybb18&language=en. It may be down for maintenance or configured incorrectly."

Any solutions to getting this working? Thanks!

I converted Mybb 1.86 forum to newest phpbb 3.1.7-pl1, after last step comes a error 500 message. What about this ?

Actually only getting timeout error on step 17 during the convert.

This is the step it works on then it goes into timeout page seconds later.

I got some error messages. Permissions all set on 777 for converting (that is the first message).

Can anyone help?

I have my wbb lite 2 converted to mybb, it works great. But the mybb converting to phpbb doesen't work.
